Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has welcomed the arrival of central defender Lisandro Lopez to the club in an interview with reporters who were gathered outside the meeting involving Serie A managers and referees over the newly introduced VAR technology.
“It is confirmation of what I was saying, we have good directors. I am convinced that their skill puts us ahead of other competitors.”
The Nerazzurri boss then spoke with the same reporters on VAR and some of what was discussed in the meeting.
“VAR is an innovation which has led to 90 per cent correct choices and 10 per cent wrong decisions. It is clear that we need to work on that 10 per cent to improve again.
“It would be devastating to go backward. All the right people are in the right positions. There are things that need to be improved, but everything is pointing in the right direction.”
He concluded, “We are working in the right way.”
lol, suddenly the topic from transfer switched to VAR. So much desperation that he couldn’t help but to switch the topic as soon as possible.
You are too polite Mister. Let be honest and say ” What the hell the directors doing?” :)))
Sounds like he is sarcastic.
1) Inter directors failed to grab Cb reinforcement in summer.
2) No, decent backup for strikers and wingers who can rotate and provide quality and Inter put that burden on eder. Who is no longer starting from the bench(we gave him contract till he is 35).
3) Spalleti became angry last time when reporters asked him about CB and player recruitment, if he was truly happy, he would have stayed calm.
P.S. trace back to Summer mercato threads and you will find me criticizing the holes in Inter squad and I said that the blame will be on Inter directors this season as he(spa) made Roma finish 2nd with ridiculous amount of points.
Note: I am not bashing the signing of lopez till I see him in action.
talking about VAR, oh yeah especially that 10% wrong in those heads…cough…some refs…cough…really need to be fixed
it just showed our owners are not the richest people in china as they claimed
they are not and never was the richest people in china.. i’ve never heard that claim. but they still rich as f*ck.. look how they spend money for their chinese club without that FFP shit. they splash the money like nothing..
hahahahaha, …
spalleti,
it seems you must be in their … ass !
so true he is kissing their assets bc he can’t say there is no money and they can’t get me De Vrij, so I have to pretend that I’m happy with the arrival of a 4th choice CB.
bravo, I have the same feeling which makes me feel bitter in my mouth…
Well…i think I’m gonna stay quiet on this one…after I raised my eyebrows about Skriniar to see what he turned out to be then I shall wait until after the player performs to comment but regardless of being a 2nd string CB surely he’s better than playing Santon at CB..surely…
it must be some misunderstanding here. I didn’t mention škrinjar in my post at all ! I trust in his talent and if it doesn’t fulfill in inter I bet he wil succeed in some, unfortunately, better club.
my post is all about my feeling regarding this first (?!) sign that, with the result crises in inter, spalleti is turning to tactics of glorication of management in inter and he is doing it like a poltroon in slimy way … unfortunately.
What is your first language? It can’t be english
of course it cannot, my first language is my — mothers language ;-)))
why ? want to teach me something? I really don’t appreciate neither brits, nor their language, but since their arrogant cultural imperialism is still in power, I am forced to use it, but without any respect for both of mentioned.
what is YOUR SECOND LANGUAGE ?
“renga” sounds like coming from east … from some previously british colony.
Lol. Nozanetti I like your writing style despite it not being your first language. Can’t accuse you of being boring.
that only shows that you are “on the right path” as spalleti says for inter ….
Santon as cb was so horrible..
There’s a difference Skriniar was a started at Sampdoria… Lisandro is #4 pick at Benfica he lost his place to a 19 year old. We got that hasn’t play in a while. So I’ll get someone from the youth team or try Santon that is not the best choice.
Indeed, despite of whatever he was at his previous club, I think we should wait and see his performance WITH inter, could be a massive differences, either in positive or negative way. As for Santon of course he can’t play CB, but considering he was the only one available during the game we really cannot blame him for playing position he’s not familiar with. After all he’s been impressive this season, clearly there’s improvement in recent years.
thats just team effort, he just trying to see things from positive way, they must support each other instead of bashing here and there to make a successfull and desireable result, it would be disastrous if he say negative thing about the management.
why doesn’t he keep his mouth SHUT UP ?
