Joao Mario will make a decision on his Inter future in the next 48 hours according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Inter and West Ham have reached an agreement in principal over the transfer of the Portuguese midfielder and will soon meet to iron out the final details of the deal.
The two clubs have agreed upon a loan deal until the end of the season – with the Premier League club paying a €1.5 million loan fee – which also includes an option to turn the move permanent for €22 million. Although, Inter would like to increase this fee in the upcoming meeting in order to re-coup even more of the €40 odd million they paid for him just 18 months ago.
It is understood that the 24-year-old, alongside agent Kia Joorabchian, has asked to have 48 hours to make a decision on the possible transfer to the Hammers.
This term Joao Mario has not only struggled for form but a regular starting berth also, making just six starts all season.
Whilst Warnock is undoubtedly an absolute bell end of immense magnitude,West Ham clearly benefited from Kia’s debauchery
Sheffield should have come back up with the £30m they had off us. They suck and are not as good as they thought they were. Lol
we should invest in young players who have performed in Italy. Serie A is a lot tougher than it seems because of the tactical games involved here. I hope we get Chiesa nxt season.
We are! Gaglia, Vecino, Skriniar
Gaglia has been decent, he may have a good future, Vecino is not young. and Skrinier has been one of the best signing for us in ages.
no fucking way 22 million??!!!! Those stupid PL noobs can buy him for 40 million or more!!
Offer them loan with option to buy @40m or loan with obligation to buy @30m, let them choose
i have read 3 times that there is an agreement
We will also need to plan for the future after Candreva on the right. He may be honed for that front line eventually. We can’t be hasty. Its bad how we sold Banega and now could use him now that the hole appeared. I would much rather have Banega right now than a recovering Rafinha.
Don’t forget FFP. Rafinha is a gamble but is risk free and doesn’t cost a thing. He was much better than Banega before the injury.
As for replacing Candy, let’s hope we get in the UCL and than buy Chiesa or Stuso since Milan will be in deep financial shite come next summer
If we do not recoup the money we paid then we should not sell him. Simple as that. He has not had many chances this term due to illness more than injury. This is not the way to deal with a long term investment. Just like someone said on here, he will end up performing eventually with someone else. He could have a loan this season with some set goals by both clubs and return to Inter for another season. Unless they recoup a lot more money.
I think it would be wiser to include a 20-30% of eventual sell-on fee. I believe Mario will thrive in EPL and it’s Inter’s best chance to recover their investment
Go to PL. Grow some balls, learn stuff like shooting. Come back the player we paid for, that one who put Pogba to shame and had a habit of winning.
Exactly learn to shoot, grow some muscle … better yet grow some balls! Every time the camera pans in on him he’s shitting his pants… on when he’s in the bench he looks like he trying to hold an entire boiled egg in his mouth!
Wtf Mario… why so limited!??!
I´ve also wondered if most of his bad finishing is caused by him bottling up. He has a habit of shooting straight at goalie from couple of meters. He must have better shooting technique than that, I mean about anyone who has played football can finish off those kind of chances from those areas.
sell Joao Mario, Eder, anda “non” star player..
Inter must buy Star Player example : Pastore, Ozil, De Vrij, Lucas Moura, or Leon Goretzka
Leon Goretzka is already a Bayern M. Player…
FFP
I dont tell buy all player, but with money from sell Joao Mario, Eder.. Inter can buy “one” name from Pastore, Ozil, Lucas Moura.. Don’t waste the money with buy some player overrated..
Mario is on loan. Eder and Pinamonti combined are 17M if the deals go through. None of the above will come for that money
Pastore, PSG set price 20 million euro..
I hope Eder and Pinamonti sold, plus Mario loan fee 1,4 million euro..
that’s close with PSG set price..
Remembe what happened the last time we signed a decent player or 2 from Joorabchian? I would tell him to go do one.
Kia gave them Tévez and Mascherano. They should listen and buy quickly.
Yea, and look at the shit that caused!
It allowed them to stay in the Premier league as they were deep in the relegation zone when they were signed.
With a £30m fine, almost a points deduction and Tevez and Mascherano was fucked off asap when Joorabchian wanted some money.
Yeah the key word there is almost. And from what I can remember it was Sheffield Utd that got screwed over by West Ham’s illegal move and got relegated….how are they doing now again??West Ham were quite happy with their fine and continued EPL league status.
That is just bad business. We gave Kondogbia to Valencia for 25 millions in exchange to Cancelo, for who they want 35 millions! And now are willing to give Joao Mario for roughly 24 millions, but we’re getting eight months not played Rafinha for more than 35 millions?!?!? How any other club can buy cheaper and sell expensive, only we continue otherwise?
Look at the players you have brought in they are all very decent.
Because our scouts suck. No other clubs would pay 27M for Gabigol and 40M for JM, 40M for Kondogbia.
must be FFP is the reason ! 😉
If Cancelo keeps developing like he has been, it would be great business. Rafinha could be a steal if he returns his previous form and he is free, no risks attached
you are asking all the right questions my friend. I am also baffled with that fact. what is wrong with us??
How come the only players we are linked with are all “coming off a bad season” and are struggling. Can’t we attract a player having a good sèason? Or are our owners only scratching around the bottom of the barrel
Scratchy, tight ass, cobwebbed wallet owners. Waatch those moths.
mario was the best player in euro when we sign him, look at what happened to him now!? kondogbia was one of the best player in france, look what happened to him now?! gabigol!? he was one of the best young player in brazil, he’s suck now. LOL
there’s no guarantee at all even you sign the players in form. not just in this era, in moratti era’s we experience the same too, conceicao was the best winger in serie a until he came to inter. amantino mancini was the other great winger, until he came to inter. we’re curse man.. ^^
Idk about cursed but I blame management. We buy hype over substance then we’re impatient with those that have actual substance. Mancini was one dimensional, Gabigol was known to be the lesser of the Gabriel’s by the time we bought him, Quaresma always had performance issues for big clubs, J. Mario was always known to be relatively limited.
mancini was one dimensional when played for inter, but he was amazing with roma(one of the best winger in the world at the time). gabigol and gabriel jesus have almost equal reputation in brazil. in fact gabigol was well known first before gabriel jesus. quaresma was the new figo before coming to inter. he was amazing and still amazing after leaving inter. he just suck at inter. jao mario!? he’s not this bad in euro and portugal, he was a good box to box player. now i don’t know how to describe him anymore.
I totally agree with your opinion, except with the curse, coz its not only happen to us but to other clubs too
the curse is a joke..^^
Not cursed simply very badly managed/ runned club. That is until now.
Back in the Moratti era the coach got sacked after a couple of losses and a new coach drafted in and not a coach who was known for playing the same way as the fired one, but simply a coach with a high profile, meaning Moratti would spend shit loads on new players for the new coach´s system and creating coach among the players who had just arrived.
Today we have a clear line installed; we only want coaches who plays 4-2-3-1/ 4-3-3 and in that way it becomes easier to plan ahead. Still, buying a youngster from another country is still a big risk because he needs time to learn the Italian way of playing football which isn’t easy.
Gabi was an back up option which Ausilio graped when he realised he had lost out on Gabi Jesus to Pep Guadiola and City, and Mario was great at the Euro´s but had never played abroad before so was a risk.
But in the cases where we actually have done our homework and scouted the player before splashing out, it quite often has come out well: Kovacic, Coutinho (I know we sold them, but we made good money on them and got them before anyone else, but for financial reasons both were sold), Skriniar, Icardi and now Cancelo is showing he has it all to become world class in the future! Even the much criticized Gagliardini is doing well, considering he still is only 23 years old. Of course in order to take a step up in quality we need an experienced leader in the middle next to Vecino and let Gagliardini play as a come-on in order to learn with out pressure.
In this transfer window we have gotten players in that have been in Europe for years, knows what it is like to play on the big stage for a big club and to win! Rafinha is a bet, true, but a safe bet because we don’t have to pay for him next summer if he turns out bad. But he actually knows the 4-2-3-1 system we play and should fit in well.
We´re being linked to a lot of very promising Italians and hopefully we get a couple of them next summer.
We buy a player then change the coach, that’s always happen ..
actually that’s not really matter in this era. we always change coach with the same formation preference(4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3). which make our director more easy in theory to find the players that needed for that system. the only mistake maybe when they allowed mancini resigned a week before the season start.
obviously, FFP is the reason ! 😉
No, we can’t. We haven’t played un UCL for a few years and we can’t spend because of FFP. We need to take risks with young and unproven or fallen and on-the-rise. Let’s hope the gamble will work to get us top 4 and then strengthen.
Buy high and sell low, now that’s Inter logic my friends
sure, FFP is the reason ! 😉
Close this deal with 30~35M, then kill that pig Joorabchian, light a cigarette and leave the scene.
West Ham will leave the deal if we demand 30-35M.
They are an English club, overpay is part of their DNA.
They can afford it – the English PL get shit loads of TV money – in fact more than 100% more than the Italian league does, so let them pay!
Besides; what´s 35 mil in todays transfer market?
I think it would be wiser to include a 20-30% of eventual sell-on fee. I believe Mario will thrive in EPL and it’s Inter’s best chance to recover their investment
Yikes such a big loss
Sounds just like the Carvalho fiasco.
What’s that?
