Gabriel Barbosa, spoke to Brazilian media outlet SporTV about a couple of different subjects, about his European journey and his return to Brazil.
He spoke about the European chapter of his career: “Although I did not play so much, I learned a lot: from eating habits to lifestyles, I shared the dressing room with great players, I met new cultures and learned a new language, Italian, Inter I have a contract with them, I will be back soon “.
Then a comment on his new loan back to his hometown club, Santos: “I arrived hungry with the intention of helping the team, the three goals in three games, I’m just a few games in, I always want to play, if I’m on the beach I will just watch football. The team is very important for me, we are trained by a great coach and I want to give my contribution”.
Since his return to Brazil, Gabigol has been off to a great start scoring 3 goals in 3 games.
He’ll fail everywhere except brazil or argentinian league.. his skill is not good enough for european competition..
Save your career Gabigol, go somewhere else. At least you’ll have the chance to prove yourself even though it’s not like you Ronaldo senior or smth but it’s a sure thing that you’re gonna fail if you stick with us!
Only when you’re not useless.
Imagine he picks up form and comes back with martinez and karamoah and rafinha sick attack
He will return just to be a failure again.
I thought we never gave him enough opportunities. he may hv been better than we thought. hope he comes back and justifies the hype around him.
Will never know
When people talk about entire Inter players not doing well right now, they should not to make mention the role our goalkeeper plays now. He is as good as he’s bad. His inability to come out for crosses greatly hampers hurts the team’s success most of the time. Once the defense is beaten, it is always a goal. His reactions are not as they used to be some 5 years back. Most of the goals that beat are so cheap, he can’t stop them. In fact, the following goalkeepers: Allison of Roma, Perin of Genoa, Viviano Samdoria and a host of others are simply better. So inter should also be thinking about a new, young goalkeepers to mann the goat post for them next season if they to be a force to reckon with. PERIOD.
there are many young talented goalkeepers in Italy like Perin, Scuffet and Meret. Though Perin is the best choice of mine.
Got 99 problems still before replacing handanovic
What the fuck dude!
You go and be the goalkeeper then. Thanks to Handanovic we’re always in the better part of the table because I assure you if it wasn’t for him we’d be like 10th or 11 almost every year.
We don’t score, we don’t have any creativity while Handanovic almost every year has been top 5 with saves in all the europian leagues from all the goalkeepers combined. I’m amazed how he still he’s such in a great mental shape, because playing with shitheads like this would demoralize almost everyone!
yap he has his mistakes just like neur or ted stegen do, its natural
This guy has had the creativity to add to our team, what we lack miserably and is much better than Crossdreva, so we let him go. Just like Kondo who is way much better than the Italian Kuzmanovic.
This comment right here, you can feel the pain and I can assure him he is not the only one Ranoshit makes suffer.. >>>>
“Former Inter defender Mauro Bellugi launched a scathing attack on the club, Coach Luciano Spalletti and players. “They were living on luck.”
The Nerazzurri were top of the Serie A table in December, but have now plummeted to fifth place with one win in two months.
“I expected this to happen,” said Bellugi on Tuttomercatoweb. “At the start of the season when everyone was praising the Nerazzurri, you just had to watch their games to see how they were getting these victories…
“Samir Handanovic was always the Man of the Match with 10 decisive saves. In these cases, when you’re living on luck and it runs out, this is what happens.”
Bellugi spent most of his career at Inter, coming up through the youth ranks and playing for the senior team from 1969 to 1974. He also amassed 32 senior caps for Italy.
“Antonio Candreva is over-rated. If Borja Valero was that good, Real Madrid would’ve kept him. I’m fed up, as you won’t go far with only three good players in a team.
“Ivan Perisic plays well only when he feels like it. Milan Skriniar is usually good, but he was a disaster against Genoa on Saturday. Andrea Ranocchia makes me suffer. It’s pathetic to hear the San Siro crowd laughing every time he touches the ball. How can they play in these conditions? And why was Lisandro Lopez even signed?
“Unfortunately, the Inter jersey does not belong on Ranocchia and quite a few of his teammates too. Yet on Saturday I saw a great Diego Laxalt performance and he used to be on Inter’s books.
“The club talked about Arturo Vidal and Angel Di Maria, then signed Matias Vecino and Borja Valero… Financial Fair Play, fine, but money was spent on Geoffrey Kondogbia, Gabigol and Joao Mario.
“Suning have every right to say: We gave you money and you spent it like this?””
He is telling the truth, inter were living on luck, a beginner luck, and now it has runs out.
Club still living in it’s past glory’s, but whose team is mainly made up of mediocre players. Dysfunctional roller coaster club that makes 1-3 coaches scapegoats every year for it’s failings. Pazza Inter.
The crazy thing is that they put so much pressure on these mediocre players that they melt like butter when things get tough. I mean when Dumbo said Im not Maicon, he was trying to say “Im not the guy who can help u reach the UCL, I just run a lot and try to defend hard but as you can see Im very limited skills wise”. Unfortunately, those in charge thinks he is perfect and prolly deserves a contract until 2045, plus he is italian
They melt like butter when things get tough… So very true, that’s our boys!
To be fair, it was none other than Suning that wanted Gabigol and Joao Mario. Neither Mancini nor De Boer asked for them. And Ausilio thought their clubs’ asking price was simply ridiculous. Mr. Zhang wanted them and pushed the deal through. So he has no one to blame for the wasted money. Bellugi should check his facts first.
Everything is correct besides the suning part. They are just a clueless bunch with no vision.
