Inter coach Luciano Spalletti and his counterpart at Benevento Roberto De Zerbi have decided to field the following 22 players in tonight’s Serie A fixture at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district with kick-off scheduled at 20.45 CET.
Nerazzurri captain Mauro Icardi will start on the bench tonight as Spalletti does not feel he has fully recovered from his injury and does not wish to risk him meaning that Eder starts up front for the fourth match in a row. The former Sampdoria striker is flanked by Ivan Perisic who returns from his injury with Antonio Candreva on the other flank.
January signing Rafinha is however set to make his starting debut for Inter since joining the club from Barcelona as Andrea Ranocchia will captain the team for the second match in a row.

i’m quite sure we’d play better with 3 cb formation at the moment (3-5-2) (3-4-3) (3-4-1-2) (3-4-2-1), with players inherited from mazzari that still start regularly right now (d’ambro, rano, even naga before loaned out, i remember wingbacks like naga & jonathan attacking in front of goal and scored some beautiful relieved goals and assists), also considering out of form players like perisic, candreva, valero, vecino and 4-2-3-1 not working for couple months, we’ve been playing super duper ugly, therefore i’m eager to see this formation played out.

for midfield, ill chose vecino/gaglia, brozo/gaglia, candreva/rafinha,
while at front ill chose karamoh, icardi/eder, perisic.
If you have a De Rossi or a Gattuso or a Fernandinho the DM makes sense , but if you have Gaglia it is better to play only the quality players in the midfield, pressing or not , Gagliardini gives you close to nothing anyways.
Our best game was Inter 5- Chievo 0 , with a midfield made by Valero, Brozo , Joao Mario.
No Vecino and especially no Gaglia, and our best games were ALL without Gaglia, at least in the best parts of our game
All the games with both Gaglia and Vecino were badly played .
But apparently we never learn from that, I don’t know why.

This might be one of the most important matches in the season for Inter. After seeing the reaction of Gagliardini and the others on the first goal, I do think that this whole bad runs are a morale problem. Hopefully we can take this on to the derby next week.
