Inter rejected no less than four offers for defender Dalbert according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Galatsaray, Fenerbahce, Marseille and Tottenham all made unsuccessful attempts to sign the Brazilian defender who has struggled for regular playing time since completing a big money switch to Inter in the summer from French side Nice. The four clubs either looked to bring him in on loan or try and acquire him on the cheap.
Dalbert however, has made it clear that he does not wish to leave Inter as he firmly believes he has what it takes to make it at San Siro. Should something change however, Inter will not struggle to offload the 24-year-old due to continued interest from a number of clubs within Europe.
Since arriving, the left back has made 13 appearances in total across all competitions but has not played since the 1-1 draw with Crotone at the start of last month.
I think he will get better next season.
nonono wen need this guy
I’m glad he stayed, but if we don’t start using him soon I can see him changing his mind in the summer, and asking to leave- why we don’t play him, god only knows- how can Spaletti think that D’Ambrosio or Santon are better options?!?!?
he has blistering speed, he is like the fastest player in world football
He will show his worth next season when he has had a full pre-season and has fully ajusted to the Italian league…
I think right now he is on par with Cancelo, and indeed much better than Dumb and Santon.
Dalbert hasn’t played for ages so really don’t know and Ambros is not a doing bad on the left but isn’t as good as playing on the right for sure.
And every time he played he did well.
Dumb is not doing bad on the left, he is doing the worst!
Yeah he needs to sit on the bench and watch Lord Dumbo on the left to “adapt” and learn how to play in Italy.
