Corriere dello Sport report that Valencia could be open to giving Inter a discount on Joao Cancelo but only one condition; If Inter are to agree to waive the 25% sell on fee in the contract of Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Both players were involved in a loan swap deal in the summer with Cancelo having a €35 million redemption fee attached and Kondogbia having a €25 million one with the aforementioned sell on clause also.

Since arriving in Milano, the 23-year-old Portuguese full back has went on to make 24 appearances in Nerazzurro and grabbed his first goal in last week’s mid week fixture with Cagliari. Moreover, he has popped up with three assists in that time.

It is unclear whether Inter are willing to accept the proposal of the Spanish club who are eager to keep Kondogbia but without the clause that could hurt them making a serious financial gain in years to come.
