The post-World Cup holidays have ended for Joao Miranda, Matias Vecino and Joao Mario, all of which are expected to return to Appiano Gentile where they will start working again in the afternoon.

That said, it may only be Miranda and Vecino who begin immediately, while the Portuguese midfielder may be granted one extra day to recover from a fitness concern.

Of the three names, however, only the Brazilian’s future at the club is certain. Corriere dello Sport reports that the former Atletico Madrid man will soon sign a renewal with Inter until 2020 at more or less the same salary of his previous contract – approximately €3 million per year.

Winning the World Cup could have boosted the status and, in turn, salary of the player. Instead the two sides will go ahead with the agreement found during a meeting held at the end of May between the player’s management and Ausilio.
