Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan has celebrated his Indonesian roots by posting to social media to mark the occasion. Indonesia became an independent nation 73 years ago and Nainggolan is half Indonesian with thanks to his father.

With a simple message, the 31-year-old, who is one of seven new faces to have come through the door at Inter during the summer transfer window, tweeted, “Happy Independence Day, Indonesia!!!”
