According to reports from his native homeland of Croatia, Inter and Real Madrid have both denied the possibility of a deal being done over Marcelo Brozovic.
Vecernji.hr have received confirmation from spokesperson’s from both clubs with Real Madrid brandishing claims as “fake news” while Inter have said that, “there is no interest and we have not received any offers from Real Madrid for Brozovic.”
Reports surfaced in recent days that Los Blancos were keen on him following his displays in the second half of last season following a role change which were followed up by some top performances in Russia over the summer at the World Cup as Croatia reached the final before losing out to France in a 4-2 defeat.
Brozovic, 25, joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015 as an attacking midfielder but always struggled to perform with consistency. During last season Inter manager Luciano Spalletti dropped Brozovic deeper in the midfield where he has excelled since and managed to perform with much more consistency.
