Emerson Figueiredo, the agent of Inter full back Dalbert, spoke on his clients recent form among other things in an interview with FCInterNews.it.
“Every players is happy when they can help their team win and it is no different for him. I am happy for him for the assist he provided to Martinez and because Inter won the three points. I must praise him for what he done on the field.
Figueiredo then spoke on his clients adaption at Inter.
“Last year he started preparing late and therefore it was normal to expect a period of adaptation to such a tactical league such as in Italy. This is a normal process, from which all the players who transfer from one league to another have to go through.”
During the summer Dalbert drew interest from elsewhere but Figueiredo went on to explain why he went nowhere.
“There were a lot of teams interested in him but the Nerazzurri wanted to focus on him. They knew he could be important to them. They believed and believe even more today in his capabilities and potential. Moereover, he himself wanted to show people at Inter what he was capable of.”
Figueiredo then spoke on the Roberto Carlos comparisons made by Inter boss Luciano Spalletti.
“They are compliments that please him but everyone has their own characteristics. Dalbert is dynamic and very quick and he is growing in many phases.”
Dalbert was one of the unfortunate players excluded from Spalletti’s Champions League squad but his agent concluded by saying he is aware if he performs he will get his chance.
“Every player wants to always go on the pitch but Dalbert knows very well that if he continues to play well, he will be able to play more and feature in these kind of competitions in the future with the Nerazzurri.”
