Santos are desperate to keep a hold of Inter loanee Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa and could propose two of their young talents to Inter in a bid to do just that according to a report from Brazilian news outlet UOL Esporte.

Gabigol joined Santos on a year long loan back in the January transfer window and has impressed while on loan, rekindling the form that led Inter to fork out €30 million to sign him back in 2016.

Santos met with Gabigol’s representatives to discuss the possibility of keeping him around and it is here where it was first suggested that Inter could get some young players as part of a deal. Moreover, the report suggests that Inter expressed an interest in two of Santos’ first team players in striker Bruno Henrique and midfielder Sasha.

27-year-old Henrique and 26-year-old Sasha have recently lost their respective places in Cuca’s Peixe line-up so the chances of them arriving are higher than they would be had they been first team regulars instead.
