Javier Zanetti has spoken on Inter’s upcoming Champions League clash against Tottenham Hotspur and the importance of the game to the club.
“The team will be ready for this great challenge against Spurs. We won an important match against Frosinone and it started a period of fundamental games for us. We will have a few days to best prepare for what will be a match that means a lot for us,” he told Sport Mediaset on the sidelines of his Pupi Foundation event ”A smile for Pupi, 17 years together’ last night.
As Zanetti mentioned, Inter’s win over Frosinone was the first match in what is a very difficult run of fixtures for them. After they take on Tottenham, trips away to Roma and Juventus await while they will also face PSV Eindhoven in the final Champions League game and Napoli at home, all before the Serie A winter break commences.
