Gazzetta dello Sport state that the coming hours are decisive when it comes to negotiations for Ivan Perisic and Yannick Carrasco.

Inter are adamant that they will only let the Croatian leave in an outright transfer or on a loan with redemption obligation and because of this, Arsenal have now sparked an interest in Yannick Carrasco, the player identified as his successor at the club.

The Milan based newspaper state that Arsenal are yet to submit an official offer for Perisic, despite some reports suggesting the Gunners have actually submitted a bid.

Perisic was recommended to Arsenal by Sven Mislintat, the scout who signed him for both Club Brugge and Borussia Dortmund, but it is unclear what Arsenal’s shyness when it comes to getting a deal done is all about.

It is now a matter of hours until it will be understood what direction Inter’s transfer market will go.

As for Carrasco, Inter’s management have the idea of a swap deal with Antonio Candreva. However his high salary – €10 million per season – is not easy to reach and an exit may be required in order for Inter to meet the demands.
