According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, an unnamed club has made a move for Matias Vecino that would allow him to leave Inter immediately.

With the cash raised – if a sale goes through – Inter will face a race against time to complete the signing of another midfielder before Thursday’s deadline.

One player it will not be is Nicolo Barella. The Cagliari midfielder dined with his agent and Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan in Milan last night but he will not leave Sardinia before the end of the season. He will be a player undoubtedly discussed in the future and Inter will need to fork out between €40-50 million for his signature.

Vecino may not be the only player to leave the club in the coming days with interest from Arsenal believed to be high in Ivan Perisic. The Croatian, as confirmed by Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, has expressed a desire to leave the club but it remains to be seen if his wishes will be granted.
