Inter will make a final ‘take it or leave it’ contract offer to Mauro Icardi according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

Talks between the parties have been ongoing for several months with a significant gap existing between Icardi’s demands and what Inter are willing to offer.

His wife/agent Wanda Icardi is believed to be demanding between €9-10 million a season but Inter will table the 25-year-old striker at most €7 million per season in a final offer to him.

The report also goes on to state how complicated things have got on the transfer market.

On top of being stripped as captain, he refused to travel to Vienna for the Europa League match with Rapid Vienna and as a result there is a real risk of depreciation.

Wanda has claimed on many an occasion that big clubs are prepared to buy him but none have come forward and activated his €110 million release clause. Now though Inter may accept an offer between €80-90 million for him.
