Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta spoke with Sky Sport prior to Inter’s match with Cagliari.
“This topic has been talked about a lot and we are still talking about it, but when we have to face an important match tonight, we are focused on it.
“Is there a chance for things to be sorted or are we past the point of no return? These are internal dynamics that we will manage with the person concerned, there is not much to mend as this is not a break.
“I could spend an hour talking about these issues but I’m focused on the game, we have anger inside after the Fiorentina result and we want to turn it into motivation for tonight.
He went on to speak about the race for Champions League qualification.
“It’s a good fight for the Champions League places. There are so many matches to play still and the league table can still change a lot. We have others right on our heels and tonight will be difficult but we must get three points.
He concluded: “We are united and we want to achieve our goals that are crucial for the growth of the team.”
