Marcelo Brozovic will start tonight’s Europa League round of 16 second leg clash with Eintracht Frankfurt on the bench according to a report from Tuttosport.

The Croatian midfielder was forced off the field with a muscle injury during the first half of Inter’s 2-0 win over SPAL at the weekend and there were initial fears that he may not have made tonight’s game but Inter’s tests showed that his injury was not serious.

Despite it not being serious, Inter are still cautious about his condition and he, as per many other reports, is only likely to be used in case of emergency.

Brozovic dropping out of the starting eleven will be one of a few changes Inter manager Spalletti makes. Due to Brozovic’s injury, Milan Skriniar will be moved from centre back to fill in for him and Andrea Ranocchia will fill the void Skriniar leaves.

Roberto Gagliardini and Dalbert will drop out due to financial fair play restrictions allowing Matias Vecino and Danilo D’Ambrosio respectively to return to the starting eleven.

Antonio Candreva will come in at right wing because Matteo Politano will be filling in for the suspended Lautaro Martinez at striker.

Inter Predicted line-up (4-2-3-1):  Samir Handanovic; Cedric Soares, Stefan de Vrij, Andrea Ranocchia, Danilo D’Ambrosio; Matias Vecino, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Borja Valero, Ivan Perisic; Matteo Politano.
