Radja Nainggolan will not be available to Inter manager Luciano Spalletti for selection for this Sunday’s Milan derby according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Belgian sustained yet another injury set-back last week prior to the first leg of Inter’s Europa League round of 16 clash with Eintracht Frankfurt, the second leg of which will be played tonight.
While Spalletti will be unable to count upon Nainggolan in Sunday’s encounter, he will be able to call upon Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez again.
Brozovic was forced off the field in Sunday’s 2-0 win over SPAL with a muscle injury and there were initial fears that he may miss tonight’s match and the derby.
Inter’s tests however showed his injury is not serious but he is expected to start on the bench tonight and only be used in case of emergency.
As for Lautaro, the Argentine striker picked up a yellow card in the first leg against Eintracht Frankfurt and can not play tonight due to suspension.
