Ahead of Inter’s match with Chievo Verona tomorrow night at San Siro, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti spoke with Inter TV.
Firstly he spoke on how the team’s preparations have gone and the comments of his opponent number at Chievo, Domenico Di Carlo.
“They have trained like they have every other week. They are training properly and thinking that they have the possibility to bring Inter back into the Champions League and they are determined to reach the goal,” he began.
“Chievo’s manager says they want to get points against us? I would be amazed if he had said anything other than that. We must win by trying to be better than our opponents. Everyone must put their all into the game.”
Spalletti was then asked how he intends to cope without Marcelo Brozovic, who will be suspended for the match with the Gialloblu.
“It has already happened wherein we have had to do without him but won anyway.
“Borja Valero has shown that he knows how to be a pure regista whilst Roberto Gagliardini, when called into question, has always performed. Matias Vecino is another who has great qualities. Joao Mario could also play due to his technical quality.”
He concluded by speaking on the support the team have received throughout the campaign.
“They know what the goal is and what they want us to do. They deserve great compliments for the support they have given us all year and together we are stronger.”
