Tuttosport believe that the only solution to the recent problems between Inter and Mauro Icardi is for the Argentine striker to leave the club in the Summer transfer window.

Relations between the club and the 26-year-old significantly broke down after the club took the decision to remove the captain’s armband from Icardi.

Icardi then sat out for two months ‘injured’ whilst posting a series of cryptic messages to social media. Upon his return, his performances have been poor.

The Turin based newspaper go on to highlight that he is experiencing his worst season at the club since the 2014/15 season and has managed to score just 10 league goals this season.

His last goal dates back to the beginning of April, the goal before that came back in mid-December. Both of those goals came from the penalty spot and his last goal in open play came at the beginning of December.

As things stand there are no offers on the table despite plenty of reported interest.
