Piero Ausilio assured Inter supporters last night the club were confident of hitting their Financial Fair Play targets before Sunday.
The Nerazzurri must raise around €45 million in ‘capital gains’ as the 2018-19 financial season ends on 30 June.
Stefano Sensi moved closer to the club on Thursday after Ausilio met Sassuolo’s sporting director Giovanni Rossi to finalise a deal.
“We’re always calm,” Ausilio told reporters, when asked if Inter would reach their targets in the next three days.
“We’ll see what happens about Sensi. It was just a dinner between friends tonight.”
Rossi later added the clubs were at a ‘good point’ in their talks for Sensi, who scored two goals for Roberto De Zerbi’s side last season.
Inter will finalise a series of sales for their academy talents before Sunday in order to avoid all risk of sanctions from UEFA’s governing body.
Sensi will join on loan with an option to buy.
