Antonio Conte enjoyed a relaxing weekend near his home city of Lecce as he prepares to start preseason training with Inter, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Conte visited the Robinson Club Apulia in Salento, an all-inclusive holiday resort he knows well, having flown into Brindisi from Milan on Saturday.
The former Juventus and Chelsea boss spent time with his wife, daughter, parents and brothers after following Inter’s transfer dealings in first person last week.
He will hold his first press conference as the Nerazzurri’s head coach at Inter’s club offices on Sunday, before heading to Lugano for a summer training camp the next day.
Conte posed with supporters for photographs at the weekend but did not make any official comments about his new job.
Inter will spend a week in Lugano before jetting off to Asia for their annual preseason tour, where they are due to play Juventus, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
