Inter are poised to make an increased offer to Manchester United for Romelu Lukaku, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri are in a hurry to sign the Belgian and met his agent Federico Pastorello again yesterday.

Pastorello officially visited Inter’s offices to discuss full-back Dalbert, who could be on his way out, but the parties spoke about Lukaku as well.

Beppe Marotta will offer United €70 million with payment split between an expensive loan and an obligation to buy.

Lukaku is Antonio Conte’s key transfer target in attack and has already agreed personal terms with Inter, which will see him earn €6.5 million per season.

Inter will make their next approach to United soon and believe the Premier League club could settle for €70 million in the end.

Conte will begin preseason training in Lugano on Monday but it is unlikely Lukaku will be in attendance like the Italian had initially hoped.
