Inter and Milan’s project for what will surround the new stadium will be similar to that of L.A Live, the entertainment complex opposite the Staples Center, the home of both the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers basketball franchises according to a report from Milan based news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport.
The two clubs confirmed this past week that they wish to build a new stadium by submitting plans to the Milan city council for the stadium, with the new stadium to be built adjacent to San Siro in the next few years.
Inter and Milan have scheduled meetings to gauge what the public would like to see in the area, that should be completed for 2023.
L.A Live, which cost approximately $2.5 billion to construct across three phases, contains hotels, restaurants, cinema, concert hall and ESPN Broadcast studios among other things and completed regenerated the area surrounding the famous stadium.
