During a charity event organised by the Pupi Foundation, Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti spoke to Ole.com about a number of issues surrounding Inter’s pre-season preparations. Here is what he had to say:

“Icardi? He started pre-season with us. The players are working, the market has started and we are waiting to see what happens.

“Lautaro? I was very happy with his performances during the Copa America. He’s only 21 years old and has returned from a very positive season: he has a great future ahead of him. Barcelona? We have heard nothing from them. We are very happy with Lautaro and we want him to stay.

“Conte? He has a lot of experience, we will try to be protagonists in Serie A. Next Week I will go to China because we have a tour in Asia with some interesting friendly matches. This will be an important year, because Inter must return to winning trophies.”
