Samir Handanovic has taken to social media to give thanks to everyone who wished him well as he celebrated his 35th birthday.

“Thanks for all of the birthday messages,” the Slovenian posted to his official Instagram profile as a caption to an image of himself in action in the pre-season friendly with Lugano.
