This week will be key for Inter in their pursuit of Roma striker Edin Dzeko according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Roma are understood to be ready to make the Bosnian striker untransferable as of Sunday therefore Inter will need to move quickly if they wish to add the 33-year-old to their ranks.
Inter are well aware of Roma’s intentions and now need to take a step forward having progressed very little in talks with the Giallorossi in recent weeks despite having an agreement in principle over personal terms with Dzeko.
Inter’s most recent offer was of €15 million but Roma are holding out for €20 million and are refusing to budge even an inch.
New Roma manager Paulo Fonseca has been left impressed by Dzeko during pre-season and is trying to convince him to abandon the idea of moving to Inter in favour of staying in the Italian capital.
