Inter central midfielder Stefano Sensi will be back available for selection for this weekend’s Serie A match away to Sassuolo according to a report in today’s paper edition of Turin newspaper Tuttosport.

The Italian international picked up an injury during Inter’s last game before the international break and was expected to miss Sunday afternoon’s match against his former employers as a result.

He has however recovered and whilst difficult to foresee Inter manager Antonio Conte playing him from the first whistle, it is not out of the equation that he could come off of the bench.

One of the reasons Conte is expected to start the 24-year-old from the substitutes bench is because Inter will be in Champions League action next mid-week against German side Borussia Dortmund, where it is absolutely essential that they pick up three points to remain in contention for qualification to the knockout stages of the competition.
