Zlatan Ibrahimovic has refused to rule out that he could well remain with LA Galaxy, despite the fact his contract is due to expire at the end of this year.
Despite being 38-years-old now, the Swede has drawn links to several other clubs, including Inter, where he spent three years between 2006 and 2009.
“I have a contract until December 31st and until then I have no other thoughts, I respect my contract,” he said to the gathered media when asked about his future with the MLS side.
“If I leave, you [the media] will have less to write about, but if I stay you will still have something to write about, so let’s see what happens.”
He then spoke on his unique personality and way he handles himself.
“I’m just being myself, being popular is not something you choose. I think it is natural when you are good at what you are doing and people, whether they like it or not, still by the shirt. I wish I had 50% [of the shirt sales money].”
