Inter manager Antonio Conte’s match analysis of the 4-3 win away to Sassuolo in training yesterday lasted longer than usual according to a report in today’s paper edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The analysis, which saw the staff and team do all the typical stuff such as watching videos of the match, was more in-depth and particularly focused upon the final 20 minutes of the match where Sassuolo went from dead and buried at 4-1 down to very near winners as they pulled two back.

One of the things that became apparent was Inter’s defensive line was far too deep and the problems Jeremie Boga caused for the team were also looked at in particular. The examination of Boga was not to humiliate Valentino Lazaro, who really struggled against him, but to highlight a recurrent situation.

The report goes on to state that the return of both Diego Godin and Kwadwo Asamoah into the starting line-up for tomorrow night’s Champions League match can help Inter shore up at the back with the pair of them being two of the most experienced players in Inter’s squad in the Champions League
