Fiorentina club manager Giancarlo Antognoni discussed the future of Inter target Gaetano Castrovilli to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia yesterday.

“We hope that he will stay. He grew up with Fiorentina, we took him young and then spent two years developing his career with Cremona. We hope that he will be the future of Fiorentina together with Chiesa, but the certainty is never there because times have changed, and the loyal players are less and less.”

Castrovilli has attracted a lot of attention from clubs across Italy after his strong start to the season with the Florence based club. The 22-year-old Italian has made 12 appearances for la Viola so far this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the process. He has also been noticed for his calmness whilst on the ball, as well as his pinpoint accurate passing ability.

Inter are following the 22-year-old Italian closely as a potential transfer option.
