Arturo Vidal’s possible January move to Inter is all down to him and his agent Fernando Felicevich according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte wants the Chilean international midfielder brought in to strengthen his midfield department and the report stresses that Inter only want him on loan and have zero interest in paying a fee for Vidal due to him being 32-years-old.

Barcelona are understood to still deem Vidal important, despite the fact he has slid down the pecking order at the club this season and are currently not too open to the idea of a loan meaning it is down to Vidal and Felicevich to convince them otherwise.

The report goes on to state that Inter are also at work on alternatives to the former Juventus player. Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul is a target and is valued at €30 million. Udinese are also open to the idea of loaning him out with a purchase option attached.

Inter have also been offered the chance to sign River Plate youngster Cristian Ferreira, who has a €25 million release clause in his contract but the report concludes that Inter have set their sights on another youngster in Dejan Kulusevski instead.
