The Lega Serie A have announced the match official appointments for this coming weekend of Serie A action with Marco Guida assigned to take charge of the Derby D’Italia between Juventus and Inter.
The 38-year-old will be refereeing his 19th game across all competitions this season and whilst it will be the second time he referees a match involving Sunday’s hosts, it will be the first time that he takes charge of a match involving Inter this term.
Guida refereed Juventus’ 2-1 Serie A away win over Roma earlier on in the season and has also refereed matches in the Champions League and Europa League this term.
Filippo Meli and Ciro Carbone will be the assistants for the match at the Allianz Stadium in Turin and Fabio Maresca will be the fourth official for the encounter between the two great rivals which could prove decisive in the race for the Serie A title.
Paolo Mazzoleni will be in charge of VAR and will have Giacomo Paganessi alongside to assist him.
