A new agreement has been reached between Inter and Paris Saint Germain regarding Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how there is now an agreement in place in regard to what happens if the Parisian side enact their €70 million buy option on Icardi. Should the French club turn around and sell Icardi back to another Italian team, Inter would receive €15 million in bonuses, on top of the €70 million.
Juventus are incredibly interested in signing the Argentine striker, the report continues, although they may have to accept an extra €15 million going to their rivals. Icardi would become the club’s new main striker, allowing Gonzalo Higuain to be sold in the summer.
Icardi has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1958 minutes. In that time, he’s scored 20 goals and provided four assists.
