Inter owned Mauro Icardi is on a shortlist of three players Juventus are considering as players who could potentially bolster their attack according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
With their current front-line ageing, with both Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain a few years past 30-years-old, the Bianconeri club are looking to bring in a striker under the age of 30 who can be around for a long time.
Icardi, who is currently out on loan at reigning French champions Paris Saint Germain, is joined on the shortlist by Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner, a player Inter are also seemingly keen on signing too in the Summer.
As part of the loan deal, PSG can turn Icardi’s stay with the club into a permanent one for a sum of €70 million and there are currently contrasting reports regarding their intentions for the 27-year-old, who has 20 goals in 31 games for them.
