Stefano Sensi is one of a number of players who could stand to benefit from the postponement of the European Championship’s from this Summer to next Summer according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.

The Inter central midfielder’s season has been plagued by injury which led to doubts over whether or not Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini would select him for the tournament.

However, with the postponement of the tournament, which was confirmed yesterday by European football’s governing body UEFA, Sensi now has more of a chance of making it into the Azzurri squad.

Sensi may not be the only player who benefits from the postponement either the report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state.

Andrea Pinamonti, who is with Genoa but is expected to be bought back by Inter in the Summer, is seemingly on Mancini’s radar as a player who could potentially make the cut.
