Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is the latest player to send a message to Inter fans via Inter’s official Twitter account in the midst of the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic.
During his message, the 26-year-old Belgian striker, who joined the club this past Summer, also announced that he is helping out and is making a donation of no less than €100,000 to a hospital.
He said: “At this difficult time we have to stay united and stay at home. Italy is an incredible country that has done so many good things for me and my family.
“That’s why I want to help this country by donating €100,000 to the San Raffaele Hospital. It would be great if you could help support the people and the hospitals too. Let’s stay united and stay strong everyone.”
Lukaku has scored 23 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions this season.
