In all probability, Christian Eriksen will make a return to the starting line-up for tonight’s Serie A clash away to SPAL according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Danish national team attacking midfielder joined the club back in the most recent January transfer window but has not exactly lived up to expectations and found himself fall behind Borja Valero in the pecking order in the past few weeks.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that longer Eriksen struggles to assert himself at the club, the more the doubts surrounding his future with the club will grow.

Reports elsewhere in the media as of late have suggested that Inter could either sell the former Tottenham Hotspur player or even offer him to another club as part of a deal for another player.

Since his arrival at Inter, Eriksen has made 16 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
