Inter have come up with a strategy that could help them to further extend the loan of Alexis Sanchez according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to the report, Inter have come up with a strategy that would see a clause inserted into the loan extension agreement, which would mean they would have to pay a penalty fee in the event they and Manchester United both reach the Europa League final.

The Chilean national team player joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer from Manchester United and that loan was recently extended to allow him to stay until the end of the Serie A season, which was extended as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The two clubs have however not reached an agreement that would allow Sanchez to play in the Europa League for Inter and the report claims that Inter are determined to keep him.

In addition to this, Inter are also prepared to pay another loan fee to keep a hold of Sanchez, who they will continue to consider a permanent move for.
