Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin discussed the situation surrounding Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez and Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset earlier today which they posted on their Twitter page.

“I’m angry with Manchester United, in fact I’m almost on my knees begging them to leave Alexis Sanchez, at this moment he is the heart of Inter together with Lukaku.

“Two forwards who are dragging the Nerazzurri forward and must do the same in the Europa League. One will be there for sure and his name is Romelu Lukaku, the other we do not know.”

Biasin highlighted how the 31-year-old Chilean forward is available for the first Europa League clash against Getafe on August 5th

“We know that he will play against Getafe, we do not know if he will be able to continue on his Nerazzurri path at least until the end of the season. So, Manchester United, put your hand on your conscience and give us this pleasure.”

Finally, the Italian journalist criticised Inter striker Lautaro Martinez for his poor performances since the restart of the season. Some have suggested that the 22-year-old has had his head turned by the interest of Barcelona.

“In the meantime, I’m a little bit angry with Lautaro Martinez as well, because he’s not playing as he showed us at the start of the season. And Inter without Lautaro Martinez needs to pray to Manchester United.”

Sanchez has been widely praised since the restart of the season due to his incredibly strong performances and ability to change the game for the Nerazzurri. The 31-year-old Chilean has scored four goals and provided ten assists in 27 appearances so far this season, in a total of 1255 minutes. In the last ten games, Sanchez has directly contributed to nine goals.
