Stefano Sensi hopes to be able to make a return to action against Getafe according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian national team midfielder has not featured once for Inter since the 2019/20 Serie A season got back underway last month due to injury but he will return to training with teammates this weekend. Everything suggests that he will have a space on the plane that will take Inter to Germany to take on Getafe.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter will sign Sensi on a permanent basis from Sassuolo in mid-August and the total cost of the deal will be €27 million.

Sensi started life in Nerazzurri very well but after sustaining his first injury in October, he has picked up a series of injuries since and has found playing time very limited. This term he has scored three goals and tallied four assists in 18 appearances.
