Hellas Verona are continuing to hold out for €30 million for top prospect Marash Kumbulla according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Italian born Albanian national team central defender has drawn links to both Inter and Lazio as of late but neither club have submitted an offer matching Hellas Verona’s asking price.

Lazio have offered €18 million plus two players and have no intention of raising their offer whilst Inter have made no offer yet at all but have expressed their strong interest in signing Kumbulla to his representatives. As things stand, Inter seem to be ahead due to Kumbulla having a preference to move to them rather than Lazio.

Whilst Hellas Verona are holding out for €30 million, the report does state that they could drop their demands to €25 million if a counterpart is inserted but they want players who are ready to play at first team level.

Inter could perhaps offer to extend Eddie Salcedo’s loan as part of a deal for Kumbulla and could also extend Federico Dimarco’s loan or let him move to them permanently.

The report also goes on to add that Hellas Verona are preparing to offer Kumbulla a new five year contract with an annual salary of €1 million and if the player is to accept the deal, the Gialloblu club will be able to strengthen their stance on him.
