Ivan Perisic could sensationally be reintegrated into the Inter first team if Massimiliano ‘Max’ Allegri were to take over as manager of Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Perisic is currently out on loan at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and it is still unclear what the future holds for him.
The Croatian national team player was judged as being out of the Inter project ahead of this season alongside Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan but should Allegri replace current Inter boss Antonio Conte, whose future in charge is up in the air, Perisic could well be given another chance at Inter.
If Allegri were to take charge at Inter, Perisic could well represent the perfect option to play out wide in his 4-2-3-1 system.
The report from the Turin based news outlet explains that Bayern Munich could well sign Perisic outright or the Nerazzurri club could potentially even use Perisic as a trade chip in a deal for Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombele.
