Lazio will have to pay at least €15 million if they wish to acquire Roberto Gagliardini from Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi is a big fan of the former Atalanta player and he is looking to bolster his midfield ahead of the upcoming season given Marco Parolo and Lucas Leiva are both getting on a bit now.

Gagliardini has been with Inter since January 2017 and has a contract with the Nerazzurri club through to the end of the 2022/23 season.

The Italian has found himself in and out of the Inter team during the course of the 2019/20 season but has been almost ever present since the season resumed back in June after play was put on hold for a few months due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

This term the 26-year-old has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
