This means that a transfer away from the side is likely for Alonso and Emerson, two players that Inter have been following for some time now.

Conte is a big fan of the Spanish fullback, the report continues, and considers him perfect for his 3-5-2 system.

Emerson is interested in joining the Nerazzurri’s project and is now waiting for an official offer from Inter, although one won’t arrive until the end of the Milanese club’s Europa League campaign. Inter face Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk tomorrow evening in the Europa League semifinals.
