Borussia Monchengladbach have an option to sign Valentino Lazaro on a permanent basis for just shy of €14 million as part of the loan deal according to a report from German news outlet BILD as reported by DE24.
The Bundesliga club signed the Austrian national team wing-back on a season long loan from Inter at a cost of €1.2 million and come the end of the season they have an option which allows them to turn the move into a permanent one for a sum of €13.8 million.
The report goes on to explain that in the event that Borussia Monchengladbach do sign Lazaro on a permanent basis and go on to sell him in the future, Inter will be due 15% of the profit Borussia Monchengladbach make via the sale.
Lazaro joined Inter ahead of the 2019/20 season from Hertha Berlin but struggled to break into the Inter starting line-up and he was therefore loaned out to Newcastle United for the second half of the season but he struggled to play regularly there too.
