Italian wing back Cristiano Biraghi will remain an Inter player for next season, with both his loan and Dalbert’s stay at Fiorentina to be extended for another year, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 27-year-old Italian wing back joined the Nerazzurri on loan from the Viola last summer, in a player exchange deal that saw 26-year-old Brazilian Dalbert go the other way to Florence. The Milanese club have been happy enough with the player’s performances and have no need for Dalbert, and so were simply waiting for the end of the Europa League campaign to officially finalise the deals.

Biraghi made 37 appearances across all competitions this season for the Nerazzurri, for a total of 2121 minutes. In that time, he scored three goals and provided seven assists. The player failed to make an appearance in the Europa League final yesterday.
