Inter are edging ever closer to completing a deal to sign Sandro Tonali according to a report from Italian journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

As per the report, which appeared on Pedulla’s website, Inter are the club in pole position to land the highly rated Italian national team player.

Inter have offered €30 million plus €4-5 million in add-ons and Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino has accepted the transfer formula of loan with obligation to buy. Although Cellino is demanding a further €4-5 million, the report states that the basis for the deal to be finalised is there.

The report goes on to state that Inter’s rivals AC Milan have tried several times to try and sign Tonali but Inter are accelerating in their pursuit to bring Tonali to the club.

The report concludes that Tonali has fully embraced the idea of joining the Nerazzurri club’s project and all that remains is for a deal to be finalised.
