Inter midfielder Borja Valero could return to Spain as Real Betis join the list of clubs interested in signing him on a free transfer, according to a report from Spanish media outlet As earlier today, as reported by FcInter1908.it.
The report details how the 35-year-old Spaniard announced his departure from the Nerazzurri in a post on his Instagram page yesterday.
Officially his contract will expire on Tuesday, making him a free agent. Three Italian clubs are interested in signing him, including Genoa, Parma and former club Fiorentina. Valero notably didn’t celebrate scoring against the Florence based club earlier this season.
However, should he decide to return to his home country, he could look to sign for La Liga side Real Betis, the report continues.
The Spanish club are also interested in signing him and will have to fight the Italian clubs for his signature. The player scored five goals in 100 appearances for the Nerazzurri in his three years at the club.
