Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal’s is close to agreeing terms regarding a mutual termination with current club Barcelona, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported on air moments ago.

According to the report, the former Bayern Munich and Juventus player is edging closer to terminating his contract with Barcelona before signing a 2 year deal with Inter.

Once concluded the deal is an exact replica of the deal that saw Vidal’s compatriot Alexis Sanchez join Inter on a permanent basis from Manchester United.

It has been widely reported in Italy that Arturo Vidal is a player that Inter coach Antonio Conte has asked the Nerazzurri directors to sign since the first day he was appointed as the Nerazzurri’s coach.

Vidal joined Barcelona in the summer of 2018 and has since then featured 96 times for the Blaugrana across all competitions scoring 11 goals, helping them win a La Liga title as well as a Supercopa de España in 2019.
